About

By day, I’m a Modern Work Architect at AIS, specializing in enterprise content management, grounded by a foundation in user experience and organizational change management. You can architect the most elegant solution in the world, but if people don’t trust it or want to use it, it wasn’t a solution at all.

I’ve spent more than 20 years in technology consulting: starting as a developer, moving into analysis, and now working as a strategic consultant. Across all of it, one question has stuck with me: what happens when technology meets the people it’s built for?

I’ve watched that question play out across seismic shifts: the commercial internet, Web 2.0, social media, mobile, cloud, and now AI. None of those shifts happen without people designing, implementing, and using them. Making sure real people can actually use technology, efficiently and with genuine benefit, has been my north star through every one of them.

Site Purpose

This site is a running record of that pursuit: two decades of career evolution and my thinking spanning both technical and human-centered perspectives. Mostly, it’s a record of my own growth. If something I’ve written along the way helps you too, even better. You can subscribe or follow on other platforms.
