Sample Information Architecture Design Process for Migration

I was asked recently to give a talk on a topic of my speciality for the weekly SharePoint ShopTalk that I participate in (a weekly forum to ask SharePoint questions to consultants). I chose the topic of doing a fictional file share migration into SharePoint. I focused specifically on the creation of an information architecture to meet the needs of the migrated content.
